At Hasmonean Primary we believe that Geography can promote curiosity and questions, and provide answers to the natural and human world that we live in. We encourage our children to develop their understanding and knowledge of the world and their place in it. Our curriculum is sequenced progressively and designed to equip children with knowledge about diverse places, resources and natural, physical and human environments and processes. The children will develop skills that enable them to use maps, atlases and other sources to find out about and explain the Earth’s features. We will use subject specific geographical vocabulary to give the children the language they need to describe and discuss the world and their place within it.
